EDGE AI:

MediaTek Helio P60 supplements the cloud AI with advanced intelligence by bringing it next to the users. It provides Edge AI functionalities in the smartphones. This gets you a fast-paced response, better privacy and more functionality. The APU is designed to support neutral networking which saves unto 95 percent of the energy which in turn optimizes the performance of both the device and the user.

MediaTek Helio P60 has been garnished with NeuroPilot intelligence which acts as the backbone of the smartphone. The heterogeneous AI-computing architecture works seamlessly across CPU, GPU and Mobile APU within the SoC. In conjunction with the P60’s incredible camera technology, users enjoy AI-driven experiences in apps with deep-learning facial detection (DL-FD), real-time beautification, real-time overlays, object and scene identification, AR/MR acceleration, enhancements to photography or real-time video previews and much more. This will facilitate venturing into the next generation technologies with seamless performance and broad-loomed assistance.

USPs:

Real Time Data Connectivity
Privacy of the User
Power Efficient and Optimum use of the Energy

Major Highlight:

AI Facial Recognition: Detects Face Accurately to perform Auto Focus, Auto-Exposure, Auto White Balance enhancements (3A) on subject for better picture quality.

SMART CAMERA:

MediaTek Helio P60 smartphones can combine up to a 24+16MP dual camera array or single 32MP shooter for an impeccable camera quality experience. It’s hardware-driven, high-resolution depth engine gives a 3X boost in depth-mapping performance, enabling real-time depth of field (bokeh) calculations.

With three, power-optimized ISPs it saves up to 500mW, equating to 18% over the previous generation. Working together they can fuel a supersized 32MP sensor at 30fps with zero shutter delay (ZSD), or a 16MP sensor at 90fps for ultra-fast, multi-frame recording.

USPs:

Better Performance: Faster, More Power Efficient
RAW HDR: Increase Dynamic Range
Real Time Bokeh: DSLR-like effect

EXCELLENT THERMAL PERFORMANCE:

Heavy Duty Gaming: As compared to the other chipsets, the thermal tests for MediaTek Helio P60 display positive results, making it the choice of the millennial for providing superb gaming experience. This functionality has been used to the fullest in Oppo F7.

USP:

4 K Video Playback: When the users play videos back-to-back, the thermal performance of the processor is still well optimized.

NEUROPILOT:

MediaTek NeuroPilot AI platform plus SDK automatically manages AI processing and is compliant with Google Android Neural Network API (Android NNAPI). It also supports common AI frameworks including TensorFlow, TensorFlow Lite, Caffe, Caffe2, custom third-party frameworks and includes ONNX support.

SMART IMAGIQ:

The MediaTek Helio P60’s tri-core ISP increases power efficiency by using 18% less power for dual camera setups. Coupled with a hardware depth engine enabling real-time bokeh preview, it has a multi-frame noise reduction (MFNR) and provides Real-time HDR recording and viewing.
